This book is an anthology of some short stories written by women and also includes a descriptive catalogue of over 100 women detectives from 1861-1974. Short stories of many early women writers are featured here: Baroness Orczy Emmuska, Anna Katherine Green, Gladys Mitchell, and others. Michele B Slung included a number of rarely published women authors of detective fiction, a rare genre in itself.
