The Crippled Lamb
The Crippled Lamb
Author: Max Lucado, Liz Bonham (Illustrator)
A touching story about a disabled lamb who finds he has a special purpose and place in this world. Because Joshua the Lamb is different, he often feels left out - like on a wintry night when he was left behind in a Bethlehem stable. This touching tale helps kids see that even if they are different, God has a unique plan for their lives.

This is the Christmas story retold from the viewpoint of a little lamb who was present at the birth of the Baby Jesus.

It's a sweet little story, but not that great. Kind of boring for my 5 year old and 3 year old.OK for older kids I am sure. I'll keep it so my kids will enjoy it when they have grown a couple years or so.

This is one of my favorite books. It is a children's book but I love it. This poor orphaned crippled lamb can not even go to pasture but it's feelings are hurt. The other lambs are mean to it. It's only friend is an old cow named Abigail. But when Jesus is born he is cold so the little crippled lamb has the honor of laying against Jesus and keeping him one. It pulls on on your heartstrings.

Because Joshua, the black and white spotted lamb, who limped along with a crippled leg was different, he often felt left out. Yet God had a very special plan for his life, as He does for all who feel alone. Joshua not only witnessed the greatest event in history, he was able to give the newborn King the one thing He needed most.

Lucado was joined by his 3 daughters to write his most touching children's story yet.

For younger children, the classic book The Crippled Lamb has been revised slightly and is presented in the popular board book format, perfect for little hands and durable enough to withstand some "toss and tumble." This book is my Christmas favorite. For all ages.

This is one of my favorite Christmas books.I have several personal copies, including this board book. This is a beautiful book and a beautiful story.
