If you're a fan of Repairman Jack, here's another good one! If you don't know him, this is a good novel to read to introduce yourself to him. Jack is involved with a nun being blackmailed, and a religous cult unlike any I've ever heard of.

Another Repairman Jack novel!! Jack finds himself in the usual peril, or is it the unusual peril? Good characters, excellent plot line, and just enough mayhem to keep it rolling long!!

Another GREAT Repairman Jack novel. Two jobs blend into one. Just make sure you have plenty of time when you start this book - you won't want to put it down!!

Will appeal to horror and crime fiction fans; Repairman Jack is a signature character for F. Paul Wilson; there are several books in this line. Very intriguing

Repairman Jack is always a great read. This time around, an elderly mother asks Jack to find her son who has gotten caught up in a powerful cult/church that is very similar to L Ron Hubbard's Dianetics. At the same time, Jack also helps a young nun who is being blackmailed. I enjoyed the book (I have yet to read a bad Repairman Jack novel) but I liked the previous three books in the series a bit better.

A nun is being blackmailed. What's in those photos, she won't say, but with her meager savings just about exhausted, she hires Jack to help her.

An elderly woman needs Jack to find her missing son. Jack must infiltrate the inner reaches of the Dormentalist Church, a secretive, globe-spanning cult whose members include some of the biggest and most powerful names in entertainment, sports, and politics. Ruthless in its pursuit of critics and enemies, the church hides a sinister agenda known only to its ruling elite.

But Jack can be ruthless, too, going to darker lengths than ever before as he crisscrosses the two fix-it jobs to settle the deadliest of scores.

I'm addicted to this series. I love the anti-hero character of Repairman Jack. Things from previous books really start to fall into place in this story. I'd say it's not a stand alone novel, because so many events and characters from previous books are mentioned here. This is my favorite "Jack" adventure so far.
