Title:

Crock Pot French Dip Sandwiches

Dish: Sandwiches
Dish Type: Beef
Cooking Method: Crockpot
Difficulty: 1 / 10
Servings: 6
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 8 hours

Ingredients
  • 1 can - beef broth
  • 1 pkg - Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 cup - water
  • 6 - french rolls or whole wheat rolls
Directions
Place roast, broth and water in medium sized crock pot. Sprinkle Lipton soup mix on top of meat. Cook on low for at least 8 hours or high at least 6 hours. Slice beef across the grain (it will kind of fall apart) Divide among 6-8 rolls. Serve w/ small bowls of juices from the crock pot for dipping the sandwiches. The hardest part of this is opening the can of broth!! And no need to buy a good cut of beef. Lean and tough works.

Notes
The hardest part of this is opening the can of broth!! And no need to buy a good cut of beef. A tougher but leaner cut works just fine.

Great recipe. I love easy. Thanks! We put a slice of smoked provolone cheese on top of each bowl of broth, let it melt and serve. It really adds a nice flavor. Also served the sandwiches with red pepper slices and pickles on the side.
