He always tells a great story with a ton of details. Better than Steven King, in my opinion.

Having had to study Hemingway as part of my college lit courses..I was never a big fan of the writer..However this new viewpoint of the eccentric man vs esteemed author..I preferred this story of intrgue taking place during WWII. It seems the FBI was very interested in a scheme of Heminway's to use his yacht to spy on the German UBoats in the waters between Florida and Cuba. At first it sounded pretty far fetched but it happened at the behest of J Edgar Hoover. The primary protagonist is a reluctant Federal Agent..I was skeptical in the beginning but caught up in the characters and the action. The book is a fast read and the only times it slowed was at the very end..It must have been difficult to end this swashbuckling tale on the same action filled level as the majority of the book. For this reason alone, I give it a 4 1/2 rating.
