It is a romance, and only very mildly steamy. Thrust into her is used once that I noticed, the rest was steamy kisses and sparks flying, which is kinda lame. I dont really get into that romance stuff too much anyway. This does have a mystery, but you dont have to figure it out, as the author tells your right away who is innocent, who is genuine etc. So more of a romantic suspense to see if the characters finally learn what we the readers know.
I enjoy listening to book on audio, but sometimes I found the voice that reader used for our main female character to be annoying, and sugary sweet and made her sound weak, sappy and annoying.

Wonderful story. Uplifting. Narrator was okay.
