This book is nothing like Labyrinth so if you've read that one don't expect this one to be similar. Crucifix Lane is not as well written, nor so hard to put down. Instead, this is a quick techno-thriller written in 1998 but set in 2008. A futuristic time travel novel which is more about relationships than anything, the book follows Annie Jones, who gets thrown forward in time 11 years and finds herself in a London she no longer recognizes. But why is she there, and can she get back to her own time again? And if she can, will she even want to? I waited a long time for this book as it is hard to find, but it was a bit of a disappointment to me after having enjoyed Labyrinth so much.
