One of the best books I have read concerning one of our greatest leaders of WW2. The author does a phenomenal job of capturing not only the brilliant and courageous strategist that Gen LeMay was, but takes us back to the beginning of his childhood and the troubled home life he came from to give us a better understanding of the man himself. We get a rare inside look at a man who loved his family, his country, and his fellow man. Written is such a way as to hold the reader's attention from beginning to end. Highly recommended.
