REMINDER:  The RAOK forum is open to the public, not just to PBS members.  To protect your privacy, the 3 monthly recurring threads are intended to be limited to just what their titles say - Wishes, RAOK offers, and Thanks for wishes granted.  In other words, the posts in these 3 threads should be originating messages only.  Responses to, or chat about, those posts should be by private PMs.  Chatting is welcome in the Share and Care forum, which is limited to PBS members, and where card showers and prayer chains are available for anyone who asks for support.
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Welcome to the Wishes thread, where we post our wishes - maybe things we collect, something we can no longer find in our area, things we have always wanted etc, etc. No wish is too unusual (though common sense is appreciated!); you never know what will turn up.

We must all abide by these PBS rules :
You may not wish for money or money-like items such as gift cards, or for monetary donations for any charities.  You may ask for things you collect for charities, such as cancelled stamps, pop can tabs, etc., but you may not solicit funding. This includes donations for GoFundMe and other fund-raising events.
No buying or selling or advertising. No spam posts.
No wishing for credits.  Credits are bought, sold and loaned only in the Book Bazaar forum, or you may use the PBS Kiosk to purchase them.
Do NOT ask for books, since books are swapped on the site and book deals are made in the Book Bazaar. Sorry, but you may not ask for free books of any kind. (Unpostable books are given away in the damaged book thread of the Bazaar and sometimes in the RAOK thread.  There is also a Damaged/Unpostable Virtual Box in the Games forum.  New participants are welcome!)

Our own RAOK rules:
Please do not offer payment for the things you are sent, including postage. RAOKs are given freely, asking nothing in return except a thank you. You could pay it forward by granting a wish yourself.
Please limit your wishes to no more than 10. Lists could get very long. You can always edit as you go along.
Unlike many other forums, we ask that you do NOT reply within the threads. We do everything by PMs between members. This keeps the threads clutter-free and easy to use. When you come to this ***Wishes*** thread, you see wishes. In the ***RAOK*** thread, it's all about things we are giving away - simple and easy. And to protect your privacy, please do not post your address in the thread - it's all done via PM.
Please check in and answer your PMs. It's frustrating when people want to grant your wishes and don't hear from you!
PLEASE say THANK YOU to the person who grants your wish.  You may use our monthly ***Thank You*** thread, or you may acknowledge what you have received via a personal PM to the member(s) who granted your wishes. This is very important if you wish to continue to receive things from others.

Tips:
Check the RAOK thread before you post wishes -- the thing you want may already be there for the asking!  If you see a wish you can grant, just PM the poster for their address.
And please remember, if one of the moderators contacts you about a posting, then we are only trying to keep the forum running smoothly and according to PBS rules. If you are asked to change, move, or delete your post, please do so. Most of you know that the PBS team does get involved to edit posts, and accounts do get suspended, if rules are broken. We hate to see that happen to our fellow RAOKers!

If you have questions, feel free to contact me.  I wish that your wish(es) will be granted!

Covid is getting worse here like a lot of places. I am at triple risk so I won't be able to go out much except for doctor appointments and procedures. Normally I would go to thrift shops for what I am looking for but not this year. I am trying to decorate a shelf in my kitchen for Christmas with a Christmas candy theme. Would anyone have an ornament or decoration they don't want anymore with candy on it like candy canes, peppermints or ribbon candy etc? Anything would be appreciated. I do have a few things but it's looking a little bare. Thanks.

My parents are having their 60th Anniversary on Christmas Eve.  I would love to see them get cards for this anniversary since it is rare that people make it to 60 years together.

Continue prayers for our country as Covid and Turmoil seem to be everywhere.

Small toys for children that I use all year for children's projects - bounce balls, rubber ducks, tattoos, etc.

HAPPY DECEMBER !! Hope it's a good month for everyone.

This month I'd really love it if anyone had a couple of tennis balls they don't need. Bob needs them to go on the inside walker he has so the walker moves smoother. He's been having a really hard time walking the past few weeks and his sturdy walker is too big for the apt., so he has a smaller one for inside but we have carpet and it's hard for him to push it. The tennis balls would make it move easier.

EXTRA WISH FOR BOB: W e finally found a good lotion for Bob's legs but it's a little pricey for me to order on a regular basis since he goes thru it fast. So if anyone could help me get 1-2 tubes of: medline remedy nutrashield with silicone blends lotion, I'd sure appreciate it. You can get it thru Amazon.

Also I can always use pretty stationary, preferably with envelopes.

Thanks to all that can help.

I am trying to go over the top (on a tight budget) decorating the house and making things festive for our daughter. We have been home since March, I can count on one hand how many times we have left the house. She can't get out and do anything due to a severely compromised immune system. Normally I enjoy going to yard sales and finding great deals throughout the summer but that just didn't happen. And so far, I'm not having much luck finding budget friendly online.

So, looking for a few Holiday/Christmas decor things, maybe someone is tired of a few things they have put in boxes or changed up their decor this year. Just little decor items, fun little things she can use to decor the house with.

Thanks in advance ♥♥

Merry Christmas and prayers and hugs to all!

My heartfelt prayer is always for peace especially in these trying times!

One Dollar Tree Wish is a Crossword puzzle book or two for my Dad. He enjoys them a lot. Dad currently has these 2 crossword books: A light purple covered large print crossword special #59 and a yellow/black covered crossword companion Volume 213

Heartfelt thanks to three Dollar Tree Play Pad fairies, Amy, Jeanne, and Vicky for sending me Play Pads! I believe I now have two of them all thanks to your kindness! These are the play pads I have: boy scuba diving, kids in space, kids on a car ride and swing at a fair, kids flying kites. safari/jungle scene, bear flying a kite along with a racoon and a fox inside a toy car. Should any of you ever come across any covers different than those described, I would appreciate so much two copies of any book.

I do need anything to come from a non smoking home. Due to mail not always being reliable please do let me know if you have sent me a puzzle book so I will know to keep an eye out for it! Thank you so much! God Bless You!

I work in a pharmacy so everyday are in touch with people and their germs. If anyone out there makes simple masks, I would appreciate a couple new ones. I'm not handy at sewing.  Thank you so much!

Stay safe!

My wishes:  Love.  Around the world.  Hope and less people dying.  It seems that the commoner (such as I) won't ge the vaccine until maybe July.

For the world to heal.  For the US people to just stop the stupidity.(hope that is spelled correctly)  We can't change or fix the past.  We can only be good, loving people, include God in our life and look to the future.  We need to RAOK to others everywhere.

Also,  unloved or unwanted jewlery
Any unwanted plastic bags
Zippers

Hi All,

As Christmas time is coming remember we collect stamps and there are lots of cool stamps coming out this Christmas. We currently have none of the new Christmas stamps. We collect both forgein and U.S. I you pick up a stamp and say I have seen a ton of these than we don't need them. If you pick up a stamp and say that I have never seen that one. Then we need it. The same is true of non christmas stamps. THanks Jean and Anna

Also looking for cheese spreders Anna collects them

Happy Holidays Friends!  I would like to see how many of you can go through closets and put coats, jackets, hats, mitten and gloves, boots and shoes and sweaters into a box for those who cannot afford to buy any now.  Their money must go for food first and second housing expenses if they have any left over.  Many cannot affort clothing so help out with extras you may not wear or have tuccked away in the back of a closet.  DO IT TODAY.

*Thank you Nancy.  You and your daughter will help keep some people warm this winter!

*Thank you and your daughter Boston Books:  You have put together boxes of clothing for those who need it.

And this year of craziness just continues...

I have been dealing with a medical issue for the past few months, and tomorrow afternoon I will be having surgery (seems like the date and time stamps are off in the forums, so that's 12/18 in the afternoon) to resolve the issue.  Since the surgery is late in the day, they will be keeping me overnight.  My account is on hold, and I'm not sure when I will be back online.  I am so nervous about this as I haven't been under general anesthesia since I was four!!

Normally, I send Christmas cards to all of my friends here, but was unable to do so.  I am sorry I couldnt do that.  I am hoping to send Happy New Year cards in January to wave goodbye to 2020 and a send a huge welcome to 2021!!!

I would be so appreciative of any prayers, well wishes and healing thoughts for my surgery tomorrow.  Thank you all for your kindness to me, and to each other.  I am so blessed to know all of you and call you my friends.

I have a very odd request, but what the heck....

I have an old and favorite pair of cotton shorts. The elastic is completely gone.  But I LOVE the print on the fabric, and would LOVE to have a mask cut and sewed from this fabric.  There is probably enough for several masks, which could be kept or shared.  I'd just love the one mask.

Would anyone with sewing skills, and in particular mask sewing talent, be willing to make a mask for me using this fabric?  If so, I will zing it right out....and any extra masks made could be yours to keep.

Crazy, I know.  But I just love these shorts.

Please just zing me a pm if you can help!  Thank you and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

I could use some good thoughts.  I'm being treated for a persistent, painful infection and the medication makes me feel very weak and very sick.  I started it a few days before Christmas and will be on it until mid-January so if you could just put a little good energy out into the universe for me, I'd really appreciate it.
