This great children's book author, Seymour Simon is back this time with an easy reader format book (he writes different types of children's books). He is a great author that focuses on non-fiction, usually science topics.

This book would appeal to any new reader who needs to read easy readers for reading practice who prefers nonfiction content or who is fascinated by volcanoes. I'd say mostly this would appeal to boys but I know some little girls who are fascinated by volcanoes, too.
