Daniel Ward's first professional writing was for television, co-scripting several prime-time comedy shows, including 'The Freddie Starr Christmas Show' in 1997, and the full series the following year. He then turned his hand to detective novels, a genre he has always admired, and, in particular, the world of Sherlock Holmes. His first Holmes pastiche - Sherlock Holmes ~ The Way of All Flesh - was published by Classic Mysteries in April 2004. It was re-published in 2005 by the Linford Mystery Library, an imprint of Ulverscroft/F.A. Thorpe. In September 2010, Sherlock Holmes ~ The Way of All Flesh was made available for download on Kindle.
Although Ward still plans to publish further works in the near future, he is currently studying for a degree in Medicine at the Hull York Medical School, England.
