Ugh. What was Jaci thinking? This book is geared for the average 14-year-old girl, just discovering herself & romance. The characters are unbelieveable. Do you really expect me to believe that a 30-year-old lawyer, trained to look at all the angles & machinations of men, is really that blind & stupid? And a self-made man who runs a large construction company would put up with her crap?
Nope; just isn't feasible. This is waaay below the authors' ability. Read "The Heart of a KIller" instead.

Very quick read but far from a normal Jaci Burton book. Story line is cute. Sexy construction worker. But the lady has serious self esteem issues.
