Another great experience in the Dallas/Rourke series. Love the "In Death" books. I have them all, and after I read the newest one, I go back and re-read them all in chronological order (including the 'tweens -- usually included in anthologies with other authors). A really super series.
This crime novel is much more psychologically interesting than the plot description might make you think, and it has a super ending. All the characters are distinctly drawn and believable. An excellent read.
I LOVE this series. I LOVE the character of Eve Dallas. I cannot put these books down. I absorb them through my skin. That being said - I could put this book down. It just did not have that 'grip you by the neck' feeling. It was methodical, & I figured out most of the moves before I read about them. So it was a bit disappointing for me. But it was still worth reading, so please do.
