This was such a cute book. I really liked her style and perspective. The characters were fun and I laughed most of the way through it. Some of the situations were so funny I had to wonder if the ideas came from real life. It seems I sometimes have this sort of luck in finding myself in the oddest situations. It is a light hearted read. Will try more from this author.

I normally do not write reviews but I had to on this one. I LOVED this book. There is nothing like old crushes, jealousy, and a lot of laughter to top it off. I could not put it down and had to order all of her books.

This may very well be one of the best contemporary romance stories I have ever read. It made me laugh out loud, brought a tear to my eye and was just an all around fantastic book!!!!!

Her others in this series are great too, but this one takes the cake. If you are looking for a light book that will just lift your spirits and make you smile, this is the book for you!!!! :)

This was a really cute book about 2 friends fighting an attraction that has been there for a really long time. Jamie Lee & Griff are great along with their family & friends. This leads to another book that i can't wait for. You will enjoy!

A really charming story that makes you laugh and smile and feel good. A small town pretty girl, after some funny tricks, manages to get her brother's best friend's thinking about her from pesky little sister to lover. It is a feel good book.

I loved this book! LuAnn McLane is a very humorous author. There were many laugh out loud moments and to top it all off it was a real page turner. I highly recommend this book! I can't wait to read other books by this author.

Take a light-hearted romp through Hootertown, Kentucky, where a sexy beautician has her pick between a Hollywood producer (with Jaguar) and her brother's hunky best friend (who drives a pickup).

Great Chic Lit, and extremely funny at times. This was a very quick read for me. The back of the book stated the author's next book about the main character's best friend, Mac,y would be titled "The Real McCoy". It was actually published under the title, "A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action."

My first Luann McLane, and I was expecting some sparks and sass- I do love those Southern settings. Kind of draggy and flat, it didn't follow up on some of the story lines, which left me wondering what happened. Did like the H/H and some of the supporting characters, tho.

I'm not usually a fan of romance novels, but this was a fun read. It had humor, romance, and a quick moving story line. It sort of reminded me of a Mary Kay Andrews novel; maybe because of the southern characters. Definitely chick lit. I read it in a couple of hours. Great for reading on the beach or just filling some free time.

This was a good book. Small town in cowboy country hosts a daughter who's a hair stylist who would like a little more action than there is and meets a movie star who wants a little less than he has. It's a nice story.

This was my first book by McLane. It did not disappoint. Very cute story. It took some getting used to it being written in the first person. I will definitely choose more by this author.
