This was really good! The Watchers are somewhere between a Sherrilyn Kenyon and a Robert Jordan creation -- I love both, so I had fun with this story. It's a quick read, and I was happy to see that there will be a whole series to follow. This author creates strong female characters, and in this series at least, she has a good knack for creating a setting and a sense of place without harping on the details too much, if that makes sense.

Sort of a Paranormal/Urban Fantasy by Lilith Saintcrow. Theodora is a powerful witch, who has been targeted for death by a powerful group of zealots. Dante, a "watcher" as been sent to guard her. Pretty good story. There is a subtle romance between Dante and Theo, but it is secondary. What is Theo willing to sacrifice to live her life on her own terms?

A good series about witches.

Very disappointing. Her Dante Valentine books are so much better. On the plus side its a good cure for insomnia.
