It took me nearly two months to read this one because it didn't really hold my interest. If you are looking for a story about a young girl turning to the Lord and religion this is more up your alley than if you are looking for a period romance. The first story in the series was bearable and I expected I'd at least get to see William and Julia wed by the end of this book but not so. This book fell flat and got tiring very quickly.
