This is the 2nd Volume of the Portal Series. I had not read the first volume and because I struggled to read this one, I will not buy the 3rd which I saw at the store. Quite a disappointment because I love to read series, and keep up with fun, well developed characters. This forgettable, unlikable tale was just boring, so I'm swapping the book for something else.
