Though one of Dickens' more flowery and descriptive works, the depth of characterization is well worth it for the persistent reader.The story really picks up about half way through and is the beautifully written history of its main character, David Copperfield.

I loved this story - one of my favorites to date for 2006. Excellent descriptions and unforgettable characters abound.
