Poor David can't stay out of trouble! Will he admit he's wrong and tell his mother he's sorry? A cute book with few words and funny illustrations with a wonderful, warm ending for little ones.

Ages preschool to 6 or so.

Very cute with a good message about making excuses--if you like the other David books--you'll like this too!

I bought this book for my 3 1/2 year old grandson. He'd met David in another David book. He loved them both and can now recite every word of them. Delightful for young children.

David Shannon's "David" series was the nightly read for all of my children when they were between 3 and 6. They are short, sweet and to the point and turn little ones into giggle boxes! These are at the top of my list for a must have.

The children love this book and ask for it often. When you can get a class of special needs children to sit still, listen AND say the words with you it is a hit.

Not quite as good as "No David", but my 2 year old still enjoyed David's mischief!

Everybody in my Kindergarten class seems to like this book...except for David.
