A strange one. Two corpses are found in the Emperors Canal in Amsterdam. Death by drowning, but DeKok has never heard of this type of drowning and feels he must investigate. These Dutch mysteries are a fast read, not really cozies, but the violence is always off page, and the police procedural stories very good.
