Meyer's thrillers are every bit as taught and complex as Les Childs with even better characterization. His books incorporate the tangled politics and history which are part of every life past and present. This story involves a horrible crime in the past which has come to the present to haunt the soldiers who perpetrated it. However it's not an easy mystery to solve...and those in high places don't want it solved. Couldn't put it down.
