Not my typical read, I usually don't do "fun" type stories, but it was sent to me by a friend and I loved it. Wonderful who-done-it story with a lot of interesting historical information. I ended up gaining almost 10 lbs. the winter I read this because I was obsessed with making the perfect SCONE every weekend afterwards. : )

When Dame Elspeth falls over dead, presumably poisoned by a suspect creme brulee, can two pretentious prima donnas work together to solve this classically English crime--or will they end up victims of a tainted high tea themselves?

I loved this book, the story, the characters and the mystery. It was very, very good and I didn't figure out who the murderer was. Great book, very, very clean and looking forward to the next one.
