She's a MedEvac pilot in Alaska and solves mysteries. Sounds like a gutsy gal and I want to read more.
Taylor is a pilot in Alaska working for a medevac service. When a new female pilot is hired, it is Taylor who does her check-out flight to clear her as an acceptable pilot. Tragedy strikes on her first flight, and the new pilot and her crew are killed in a crash. Now the "old boys' network" of chauvinist pilots want to blame the crash on the new woman. Taylor refuses to believe it and begins to investigate the crash on her own. When she begins to uncover secrets about the crash, someone wants her dead too...
Good book with an easy-to-follow plot. Great for people who love flying and/or those with a love for all things Alaska (like me!). The main character is likeable, but sometimes carries the "persecuted woman" thing a little too far. However, this does not get in the way of the story.
