Deadly Relations

FROM THE CRITICS
Library Journal
Successful New Orleans attorney Leonard Fagot seemed to have it all--a grand home, a devoted wife, and four adoring daughters, two of whom are the authors of this book. Yet lurking beneath this happy suburban facade was a perverse form of madness which ultimately led to Fagot's suicide. His family watched in disbelief as Fagot took a disturbed teenager for his girlfriend and maimed himself twice for insurance money. The death of his first son-in-law was ruled accidental, but based on his daughter Carol's testimony, Fagot was convicted of murdering her husband.

*From the book*
On the surface they seemed like the perfect family. Leonard Fagot was a prominent New Orleans attorney, a decorated war hero, a dedicated family man, and the loving father of four beautiful daughters. But beneath the carefully drawn all-American facade lurked a man obsessed with power and disapline who controlled his family with threats, money, and emotional blackmail.
Written by two of Leonard Fagot's daughters, Deadly Relations is the chilling true story of maddness, fraud, drug abuse, and murder in a suburban family. It is the story of a man who would do anything to stay in control- and the family who loved him until the burden of the truth became too great to bear.

*This was a really good true crime read!
