A Detective Sigrid Harald mystery.

Nice detective novel with a flavor of New York and the early 80s when it's set. I liked the mystery in this one better than the first, and Sigrid remains an interesting character. Self-assured on the outside, emotionally cold and knows it but also starting to want more in her personal life. Maron lets the reader know what Harald knows about the crime, although an avid mystery reader will figure it out long before Harald does.
