Another GREAT Hamish MacBeth book. It doesn't take long to fall in love with this main character who seems to bumble his way in and out of trouble and love, while he finds the person who committed multiple murders. In this story Hamish proposes to a beautiful woman that he does not know, in order to keep her from being deported as an illegal alien.

This was a great book. I've read all of the Hamish Macbeth mysteries. This one has a lot of surprises. Hamish plays the ultimate trick and you'll not see it coming.

If you like Hamish you will like this book. It is a cozy mystery with some suprises. I've read almost all of the Hamish series and would not miss any-it is well worth reading, fast with a plot that makes you guess.

Hamish MacBeth books are similar; delightful in particular to those who have enjoyed Scotland or are of a Scottish bent. Quick, light, and humorous mystery.
