I was so happy to find this Cynthia Riggs book on PaperBackSwap. Like all of her Victoria Trumbull mysteries, it includes delightful adventures of 92-year-old amateur sleuth Victoria; at her age, Victoria has more insight into events and people, including murders and other felonies, than many of her law-enforcement friends. Having spent a few all-too-short summer vacations on Martha's Vineyard, I find special pleasure in the locale descriptions.
I would love to keep this book, but want to share its enjoyment with others...and try to keep my shelves from overcrowding.

This is a very up to date mystery. Things in this story are everyday life. I enjoyed it because it was mondern life and what can happen to anybody.

I adore this series. Victoria Trumball, a 90+ YO, is a deputy for the local police department. I think the thing I like the most is this cozy mystery series is a bit more believable that so many out there. When three locals wind up in the hospital having been poisoned and three others are murdered, Victoria helps in tracking down the guilty party.
