Well written plot that kept me up all night reading. It's not predictable like many murder mysteries are these days.

This is a new author to me, but I will be looking for more books by Tony Strong. This was book I didnt want to put down. I kept wanting to see what happens next and what does it mean. You have Terry Williams who comes to Scotland to study the life of 17th century woman who was burned at the stake for being a witch or was it because she was a lesbian and refused to marry? Twists and turns and new murders and threats keep you glued to find out who killed a woman found in a pit for dead pigs on a local farm. There are secrets to be revealed and not everyone is who the claim to be. If you enjoy a fast moving multifaceted mystery this is for you.
