This was one of the best Trek books I've ever read! And I've read many! Picard is sent on a mission and after he completes that, he gets to rescue Beverly from a planet on the Romulan border. There were a couple of mistakes like when it mentioned that Picard's sister-in-law was killed when his brother and nephew were and one other, but they were few and didn't detract from the book. Couldn't hardly put this one down! Good read!

I really enjoyed this book. The way the series left the Picard/Crusher relationship always irked me. This has really made me interested in the series again.
