I personally really enjoyed it--I liked that the heroine is somewhat plain and reserved, and that the romance grows somewhat organically out of their situation, and that both the hero and heroine are deeply committed to the family they're raising together.  It all worked well for me, and it's on my keeper shelf.  YMMV ;)

I have not read that one yet, BUT I've never been disappointed with any of Debbie Macomber's books.  She's a great author.

I just finished this book about a week ago. I really enjoyed it. Debbie Macomber's books are always good reads for me.

I like how the love story evolved, she was a plain woman never thinking she would be considered a great beauty or ever be loved by anyone. At first he thinks she is plain and "mousey" until he sees her inner beauty showing thru and she becomes very beautiful in his eyes and finally her own.
