You will not put this book down.
Interesting read of a snowstorm disaster in LA. People are unprepared, help is slow in coming, and there are stories of looting and helping. Main characters are not well developed, but overall I enjoyed this book.
From the back cover: "Subfreezing temperatures slice across the beaches of Santa Monica. A blinding blizzard whips through Hollywood. Swimming pools turn to solid blocks of ice. Roads are impassible. Cars have been abandoned. And as night falls, so will hope...
A meterorological anomaly is transforming the West Coast into a frigid wasteland. For Robert Hanwell and his family, the nightmare is closing in even tighter.
A radical faction sees it as a catalyst for a New Order-an Armageddon that will yield a rampage of murder and destruction in the name of their god.
In a city frozen in fear, nature takes its toll. But human nature will become the most terrifying threat of all..."

Satisfying late night read, but I found it somewhat predictable.
I ordered this book because it sounded interesting. Forget it! There is no plot outside a blizzard.
Thriller -Racina at his best!
A good read. Keeps you turning pages.
Great book! Amazing to think about this happening in LA.
