Sequel to Working Man, Society Bride. Set in year 1850. Lady Esme Vernley (sister in law of the hero of the previous book) is in London for the Season, staying with her married sister Rosemary. She is immediately attracted to Felix, Lord Pendlebury, but members of her family disdain the match because Felix is interested in industry & trade - and the arrival of Felix's former flame complicates matters further. Not particularly memorable, but a pleasant time passer.
