I have read tons of Miller's books and I think this is the VERY Best, I have read most of her NEWER books and I am thinking that is my mistake. The Newer Books are all starting to run together! (Lawman posing as someone else, hard headed women trying to make it on her own usually running the general store... Train heist Plot, 18 gun fights, BLAH BLAH BLAH.... ) But I found this story completely different, it was dark, yet light hearted, serious yet fun, to me it felt like a journey. A lot of romance novels tend to RUSH into love, and we are expected to believe they are head over heals in 2 weeks!!! That is just not believable, this story is VERY BELIEVABLE If you are looking for a DIFFERENT kind of romance and to get completely lost in a wonderful story THIS IS IT. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.

Devastated by the loss of her father, lovely Brynne McFarren catches the eye of Joshua Tanner, the intense, powerful head of the Tanner shipping empire. But has she come to his romantic notice, or as the target of a look that could kill her family reputation?
