Third book of a series about Anton Rider, an Englishman raised by gypsies, who lives in Africa. In this story Anton and his son are in the British Army in North Africa, fighting Rommel. His wife is a doctor in military hospitals in Cairo and Alexandria. Major characters from the previous two books also continue in this one. Good adventure story. Reminds me of some of Wilbur Smith's books.
