If there were a way to rate this book higher than 5 stars I would do it. The Korean War unfortunately sometimes lives up to the misnomer tag of The Forgotten War. This account of the intermingled lives of Navy aviators and their roles in the first months of the Korean War is a must read for anyone that wishes to have a basic understanding and a good starting point to learn about this war. Intermixed with the aviators roles are stories and viewpoints of the ground Marines of the Chosin Reservoir campaign. Tom Hudner and Jessee Brown are the main focus of the book. The friendship they formed and love and respect tithe had for each other is well written. Great Book!
