I did not expect to enjoy this book as much as I did. It is really a very intimate account of a private, personal friendship that developed between Diana Spencer, nanny -- later the Princess of Wales -- and her American part-time employers beginning in 1980. There is nothing gossipy or dramatic in this book, but a very touching set of memories from a woman and her family who knew Diana, not as a Princess of Wales, but as a friend. If you are interested in reading about Diana, this is a must-read!

Wonderful book written with love and respect by the woman who used Diana as a Nanny during the year she started seeing Charles. They continued their friendship until the time of Diana's death. Wonderfully written, poignant and filled with loving memories.
