The first third is definitely the best-written. Alas, it was a little too easy to figure out the killer, but I enjoyed the read -- not too taxing.

This book is about allowing a misunderstanding to fester and become blown out of all proportion causing the death of a classmate. After 20 years, a killer has decided to right all wrongs at their 20-year high school reunion.

Lots of plot twists, wondering who-dun-it. A good read.

What a story! A bit slow in the beginning but about 1/4 way through I couldn't put it down. Anything by Lisa Jackson is usually good but Wendy Corsie Staub is a pleasant suprise. Can't wait to read others by her.

I thought at first that this book was short stories by three authors. To my pleasant surprise, it is a story is written by three women; Lisa Jackson leads off, followed by Wendy Corsi Staub and Beverly Barton writes the conclusion. It all comes together in a thrilling mystery about love, revenge, and dark secrets.

It has been twenty years since Jake Marcott was murdered at a high school dance. Now a twenty-year reunion is planned and the women who had teenage crushes on Jake are scheduled to die. At the reunion, three women are marked for death as the music plays, and the doors of St. Elizabeth are sealed, a killer will finish what was started long ago. Or will she?

This was an exciting read. Former high school classmates finally begin to plan for their first reunion in 20 years. The murder of a very popular boy during senior year, who had been the darling of the "in crowd" had all but ruined the very close relationships of this group of girls. As they reconnect, the three main characters are suffering relationship problems and soon begin to fear for their lives as members of their former group begin to die tragically. It's a good romance novel laced with unrequited love and revenge during a frantic race to identify the killer among them.

I couldn't put this book down from the very beginning. It was one of the best "who-done-it's" I've read in a long time.

Because all three authors are talented in their own right, writing a book together had to offer challenges. Thinking about high school and the petty attitudes teenagers have toward each other. Seeing the petty jealousies that had emerged and and the events that had occurred placed focus on those who carry grudges, possibly for 20 years. The planning for the reunion was what seemed to be a thread that pulled the book together and held me. While you began to identify the main culprit early, how the story was finessed to an end, was a gift from all of the authors. Three writing styles of the same genre married into a terrific story.

It was a very interesting idea to take 3 writers to participate in the writing of a book.
Alot can happen in 20 years and the girls from St Elizabeths will soon find out that things are not always as they appear. Good whodunit book.

This is a story about a group of highschool girls who all had a crush on the same boy. On the night of the valentine's day prom, that boy was murdered. Finally after 20 years, the class decides to at last get together for a reunion. Along with the invitation, the girls are sent their high school photo with a red line slashed across it. Soon, the murders begin. Three girls, Kirsten, Lindsay, and Rachel have their stories told one by one by each of the authors. The writing is well done and their styles are similar enough that its not disruptive.

I liked this book a lot. It is an easy read and if you go into it expecting "War and Peace", you will be disappointed but it is entertaining, none the less. I liked that it was written by three different authors and that each took on one of the main characters. The only problem that I had with the book is that, if you think too much, it kind of drives you nuts. For instance, it is based on a class reunion. Why did the killer wait 20 years to go after these women? What the heck has she been doing for all this time? Why now? However, if I just accept as fact that the killer is VERY patient, I am much better off. Overall, I liked the book. A good beach read.

This is a phenomenal read!! I started it over the weekend and could barely put it down. The story is written by 3 of best selling thriller writers, and each author writes a different section of the book. The story opens at a Valentine's Day Dance in 1986 at a Catholic girls' high school, where a young man is brutally murdered. Fast forward 20 years, and there is a reunion in the works. The reunion plans trigger memories for those affected by the Cupid Killer of 1986, and seems to send one particular person spiraling out of control. I did figure it out close to the end, but even so, kept second guessing myself. This is the best book I've read in a long time!

I am a big LJ fan, however, I very easily figured out who the killer was early on. I found myself very anxious to get through it as quickly as I possibly could, just to make sure I was right. It was entertaining but not one of the best from LJ. The idea of three different authors combining their stories in this book, didn't seem to flow very well this time.

Three friends from high school are forced to confront a ghost from their past when they come together for their twenty-year class reunion. For Kristen Daniels Delmonico, what happened that night in 1986 at the St. Valentine's Day dance, has haunted her life ever since. Her lost love colors her separation with her soon-to-be ex-husband, even extending to her relationship with her angst-ridden, headstrong teenage daughter. So the last thing she wants is to be put in charge of the reunion committee.

Lindsay Farrell and Rachel Alsace also remember that night filled with fear and horror. They dread revisiting the ghosts of their past. But one person is excited that there will be a twentieth-anniversary celebration. This person has been planning this day for a long time, and is eager to relive the night is all its gory glory. As alumni are murdered one by one, it's up to the three former best friends to stop the killer. First though, they have to figure out who it is.

It's told in three sections by each of the three main characters. The book starts from Kristen's point of view, as written by Lisa Jackson. Lindsay's perspective is up next, written by Wendi Corsi Staub. To finish the spine-tingling tale, comes Rachel's part of the story is written by Beverly Barton.

If you have ever read and enjoyed Lisa Jackson's thrillers you will enjoy this one too. As a 1980 something class reunion is being formed, three of the classmates were murdered. Most everyone in the class had some kind of relationship with another classmate, Jake Marcott. Jake was shot with a crossbow on the Valentines Day dance the last year of school, twenty yeas ago. Three more members of the class are destined for death too unless the murder can be found. I enjoyed this book very much.
