Promising premise, but no delivery.
I read a lot of dystopian books, some ya, some adult. So I have a lot of experience with the genre.
It's hard to review this book without spoilers, and while limited perspective can be a trope in itself, the narrator's inability to draw conclusions is irritating. She disobeys her teachers and doesn't know why. (except that's it's necessary to move the plot along- something that is never explained).
There are too many unanswered questions in this book, things that an observant character (which is what the narrator claims to be) would notice.
There is 'room for imagination and interpretation' and there is vague, poorly written storytelling. And this falls into the latter.
Also... spelling and grammar errors, which I can only hope they fixed in the paperback edition.
