"Dina's Book" is a very haunting tell detailing the life of Dina from a small child to an adult and very ghost and specters that haunt her, beginning with her own mother whom she accidentally killed. Set in mid-19th century Iceland, Wassmo's story is full of 'magical-realism' elements. If you're a fan of Gabriel Garcia Marquez or the genre of Magical-Realism then I highly recommend this book.
