Hello everyone!

My lover DH whose already disabled and a Marine just broke two vertebrae. I am 24-24 for the next few months though he sleeps alot due to pain medications from his doctor's.

Nice to be here and in the forums though I am very "newbie".

Pleased to meet all of you!

Hugs,

Carly

I hope everything works out for you.  It has to be very hard for him to have you do everything for him.  Put him on the forums to talk to us.  Maybe audio books would help pass the time.  Best wishes.

Welcome to PBS and we are glad that you joined in the forums.

We are sorry to hear about your husband and hope that we can be of some help to you. We have people caregiving in all types of situations so feel free to ask for tips and advice. It is likely that someone has gone through or is going through a similar situation.

Remember that you have to take care of yourself, as well. You will be no good for him if you neglect yourself!

Hi all!

He's doing better everyday but his pain distracts me very much. I find myself almost hovering over him. Thank you for the warm welcome!

How do I stop hovering? I really would love some help here.

Regards,

Carly
