The storyline had lots of promise, but it was never 'fleshed out'. There was little or no character development, or explanation of motivation. When I finished the book, I felt like I had finished reading an extensive outline of a book, and that is the editors' fault.

I don't recall ever meeting someone with a name synonymous with sin and debauchery before. I wonder which is shocking, "Taylen Ellesmere" or "Duke of Alderworth", and if both, does it matter if you turn them around or mix them up?

The cover was better than the book.
