From Books Introduction: Over the centuries, dogs proved that, with training, they could perform many duties. They helped find food, herded sheep, and hauled crops to market. Today, dogs act as eyes or ears or legs for the disabled. They rescue people in danger and help police catch criminals. Dogs are good at many things. The most important, perhaps, is just about being friends. Chapters: Dogs at Work, ...Giving a Hand, ...Using Teamwork, ...Keeping the Peace, ...Finding the Lost,...Stealing the Show.

I Say: An excellent photo book of dogs doing all sorts of things. Will delight all ages. From the first photo of chihuahuas in a clowns pocket through the middle photos of dogs leading the blind and sled dogs to the end photos of rescue dogs this book carries interest and important information.
