It's the sequel that really isn't. I don't think it will matter at all whether you have read Pillars of the Earth-since this one takes place like 200 years later and there are only brief mentions of the characters from Pillars of the Earth. It's really a totally different story, about all the people of the town, not just concentrating on the builder. |
