Hi there...I recived another copy from a sender, problem is, PBS marked the book as lost. It looks like they mailed it on time but I just now got it after almost 2 months which is weird because it is marked first class. I've already given a credit to another member for the same book...am I obligated to give another credit to the person who sent this to me? I feel PBS should do this as they were the ones who marked it lost....any thoughts or opinions?? Thanks!

My guess is the person didn't mail the book when they said they did, realized their mistake and then sent it first class. I think technically you don't have to give the 1st person a credit because it was their fault. But what was the post date on the package? |

According to the help section, you are required to mark the book received. When a lost book arrives, you must mark it received. To do so:
Lost books must be marked received when/if they arrive, to keep your account in good standing. |

Hmm. I had a book go lost and PBS put the book on my reminder list and advised me not to reorder or buy it for 2wks. I guess I misread your original post the firs time. If they marked it mailed on time and actually mailed it on time they should get their credit. It's not their fault that the PO temporarily lost the book. BTW: I don't think you can have 2 of the same book on your shelf at the same time. So you might want to post the extra one right away. If the 2nd person hasn't printed the label yet you can cancel the 2nd order and get your book back. Just PM then and explain. |
