Ingredients
1 2/3 cup - all purpose flour
1 cup - packed brown sugar OR white sugar
1/4 cup - baking cocoa
1 tsp. - baking soda
1/2 tsp. - salt
1 cup - water
1/3 cup - oil
1 tsp. - white vinegar
1/2 tsp. - vanilla
1/2 cup - semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Powdered Sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt with fork in an ungreased square 8x8x2 pan.
Stir in remaining ingredients except chocolate chips and powdered sugar.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over the batter.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Sprinkle with a little bit of powdered sugar.
