altho this book can be a bit tedious, it is overall a great adventure story!

Tho it got a bit tedious with a little too much detail on the geology and the white water rapids, it's really a good book and worth the read! About John Wesley Powell's first trip down the river in the Grand Canyon, beginning with the Green River.
