It is a fresh story and wary well fleshed out too. The writing is engaging and the character's struggles feel wary real. It is a must read book.

Exciting and well-done. The book reminded me of the old Heinlein and Andre Norton YA books. The only objection I have is to the murky and uninspiring cover art on the whole series.
I love Zahn's creative ideas and how he works them in this series.
Not what I expected from the title, but very enjoyable. I'm waiting for the next in the series as soon as someone gives it up, lol.
