This is another witty time-travel love story by Lynn Kurland. Jake Kilchurn is a wealthy and very successful jewelry designer. He is almost estranged from his father, runs his own business, and seems happy with where his life is going, until a visit to Artane and a car accident lands him right in the middle of medieval England.

Amanda de Piaget has been on the marriage block for two years now and is losing hope that there is someone out there who will marry her for who she is and not her impressive dowry. Her famed beauty is renowned throughout England and is debated even over 800 years later by those fortunate enough to have seen her. Amanda is considering the option of becoming a nun when Jake literally pops up in her world.

When they first meet, there is an instant connection, a chill that is enough to let them know that they were fated for each other. The problem, however, is that Jake's profession and lack of title and lands, in medieval times, are considered far beneath Amanda's station, and so they cannot marry. Jake has to find a way to get back to 2005, convert all his wealth to medieval gold coins, and try to make it back to 1227 before Amanda is married to another suitor.

Dreams of Stardust is an entertaining read,

Great book... Lovely, Light, time-travel romance. Jake and Amanda's story. Lynn Kurland's books intertwine with each other. It is nice to see some of the same characters throughout all the books. I love her books! Great Pool reads and evening with a cup of tea. The characters are very well thought out and not real wishy washy. Just a nice series...I now own all of them, thanks to PBS!!!

A fun romp of a read. The author seamlessly blends a storyline in modern time and the 1200's. Both centuries, and the intertwined plot were entertaining. Now I'm going to have to check out more of Lynn Kurland's books. Darn, I don't need more books to read --- but it's nice to find a great author that weaves paranormal, historic fiction and a romance without going overboard on any of the genres.

Gem expert and designer Jake Kilchurn is on his way to Artane Castle when he's involved in a car accident. He awakens to find himself in a 13th-century dungeon. Quick on the uptake, Jake adjusts to his circumstances, convincing the dePaiget family he was the victim of a robbery.

Amanda of Artane must choose a husband from her suitors. With his odd speech, unusual clothing and highly irregular ideas, Jake intrigues her. The fact that he's not after her money makes him perfect.

Jake is enchanted by her outspoken curiosity. He allows himself to be taken under the wings of her five brothers, and the more he becomes part of their lives, the more he wants to stay. But he has nothing to offer her. If only he could find his way back to the future and return with enough gold to convince everyone he's the perfect suitor. But if he returns to the present, can he ever get back?

Just finished reading it and it was great. The story telling was superb, at times, funny, sweet, nail biting...all in all a great book. The time travelling was well done and so far this is my favorite of the De Piaget books (I've only read two though) I absolutely love the characters! and they intertwine fantastically, characters who have known each other in the past and the future...lovely book. Great read!
