I enjoyed this book. It gave me the ability to picture in my mind what I want to feel about our new house and some ideas of how to make it so. I wish that it was written a little more fluidly - some of it felt pretty choppy as I read it.
The author basically says your life will be richer if you put your time and energy into family and other relationships. It's very focused on the nuclear family with children, and has very little to do with 'the space you call home.' Lots of unoriginal ideas and quotes.

Not what I was expecting. Maybe a good book for someone, but it didn't help me at all. Too many references to McDonalds and Walmart. Not what I link to making a house a home.
