I just received this from a member via Live Help and wanted to see if it was accurate info that she was given. She has printed out the info from the help center on the PO allowing PBS DC if she needs it , but this issue seems slightly different~~

Just returned from the post office, and they would not let me use the PBS DC wrapper. I had to buy a new DC sticker for 75 cents. They said it was because of a new internal memo they received wherein they could not scan packages received that had e-labels unless the entire amount was pre-paid. Since I was buying stamps at a retail outlet, they would not let me use the PBS DC wrapper.

Thanks!

I've seen no such memo.  I think they are confusing it with pre paid DC which we aren't suppose to scan.  It's one of those things the PO reminds us about from time to time.

That happened to me on my very first PBS package in June.   If you search the threads ROYALTECH gave a link for the USPS website with the guidelines that they follow.  I clicked and printed the USPS guidelines and handed it to them the next time i went to the PO.  Needless to say ..armed with THEIR OWN GUIDELINES in my hand they then had no choice but to scan my electronically generated DC. and eat crow!

Thanks Royal Tech.....I'll go find that link for you guys.  BRB
